That’s how everythings starts for Lucien Spade, the private eye forged in the Paris’ 50’s noir, as we follow his adventures tracking down Lemmy Caution, the Gorilla, the Tiger, Caplan, and OSS 117, suspects and heros of the French police comedy genre. In the tradition of noir and suspense, this documentary tells the story of this great favorite of popular French cinema, today somewhat forgotten.
